The Concept

While researching The Black Keys, I discovered that while the sound of their music is filled with upbeat, catchy drums rhythms, I found love, heartache, and relationships to be a reoccuring theme in their lyrics. In this concert poster I wanted to maintain the vibrancy of The Black Keys' sound, while illustrating what pouring (or puking) your heart out through music might look like; weaving in drumsticks into the lyrical vomit.
